Directions to Baynesfield Estate

From Durban:

From N3. Soon after Camperdown, you will see an off-ramp to the left (exit 61) which says: Eston, Umbumbulu, Richmond. Take this off-ramp. Very soon after coming off the highway, you will see a turn to the right to Richmond/Thornville, turn right. DO NOT MISS THIS TURN.

About 15 MINUTES after turning right, you will come to a T junction – sawmill on your right, chicken houses in front. Turn left. About 500 meters on you will see signs – Baynesfield and Baynesfield Estate. Turn right. Travel for about 5 km until you come to stone pillars and an avenue of Plane trees. Travel along this gravel road to the end of the avenue.

From PMB:

Travel the length of Alexandra Road, past Southgate shopping centre. You will bypass Thornville village, ignore a turn to the left to Umlaas Road. Soon after this point you will see a turn off to the right to Baynesfield/Baynesfield Estate, take this turn off.
